Frequent Asked Questions
Vehicle Wraps
Can you come up with the graphics?
Absolutely! We will be more than happy to do your vehicle wrap design from scratch. All it takes is a bit of direction and a little patience for us to create your own custom vehicle wraps. We communicate with our customers as to what they want in the wrap. Customers supply us with their logo, photos, and other supporting images. Then we customize the graphics and cut to best fit the vehicle wrap. Most commonly our clients have photos or images they would like us to add on their wrap. There are other cases in which our clients have to purchase individual photos for their design project.
How long do you need my vehicle for installation?
Installation normally takes between one and two days depending on how much coverage has to be applied. Smaller jobs can be well finished within a few hours.
How long will the wrap stay on my vehicle?
Vehicle wraps usually last 4 to 6 years on the vehicle depending on material and weather conditions. Vehicle wraps can last longer under proper care and good treatment.
Can I pressure wash my vehicle after the wrap is installed?
We highly recommend NOT to pressure wash the vehicle after installation of the vinyl. Some pressure washers can potentially lift up the vinyl because of improper use of the water pressure. The wrap is an investment to your marketing and advertising strategy and thus it should be protected. We recommend hand washing.
Do I have to wash my vehicle before installation?
Yes. All vehicles must be free of dust, mud, pollen, and other agents that may slow down the installation process. A clean surface allows for a stronger bond between the vinyl wrap material and your vehicle.
If vehicle is turned in unwashed, CMC Graphx will add an addition charge for the wash. *Price may vary, depending on how big or small the vehicle is.
Can you see through the windows after the graphics are applied?
Yes. Only if customers requested to have perforated vinyl film installed instead of the regular vinyl film. Window perforations (or "window perfs") have little holes in them, allowing you to see through the vinyl. You will be able to view the other side from your car or truck windows.
